A portion of our earnings is donated to trusted veteran-focused charities that provide assistance to veterans, and military families.
I’m Rodney Blair, a 20-year Army veteran who served honorably throughout my military career.
I entered the Army on January 5, 1981. After completing Basic Training, Advanced Individual Training (AIT), and Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia, I was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. A few months later, I attended Ranger School.
After graduating from Ranger School, I took on greater responsibilities while proudly wearing the Ranger Tab. The intense discipline and training proved invaluable during Operation Urgent Fury in Grenada on October 25, 1983.
My years as an Army Ranger led to another rewarding opportunity when I became a Ranger Instructor with the Ranger Training Brigade at Fort Benning, Georgia.
Wanting to take my military career to the next level, I pursued becoming a Special Forces soldier. I successfully completed the Special Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS) course, followed by the Special Forces Qualification Course, graduating as an 18B Special Forces Weapons Sergeant.
After retiring from the Army following 20 years of service, I began my journey as an entrepreneur. As a real estate investor, I founded Blair Rental Properties LLC and eventually built a portfolio of 10 residential rental homes.
One day, I noticed a crew removing old commercial washers and dryers from a laundromat. That sparked my curiosity. After researching the coin laundry business through Google, I opened Clear Water Coin Laundry in December 2010. I successfully owned and operated the business for 14 years before selling it on October 15, 2025.
While selling my real estate portfolio to focus on the coin laundry business, I also wanted to enter the e-commerce industry through Amazon FBA. I launched Simple Purchase LLC and began selling eco-friendly plastic drinking straws. I partnered with EarthLink to develop my website, and I sold my products through Amazon FBA.
Today, I am taking Simple Purchase LLC in a new direction by participating in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for websites to earn commissions by advertising and linking to Amazon.
Most participants in the Amazon Associates Program recommend and write about products they enjoy, encouraging their readers to make purchases. Simple Purchase LLC is taking a different approach.
Instead of simply recommending products, I want Amazon customers to begin their shopping journey through the Simple Purchase LLC link to Amazon. Customers shop exactly as they normally would, purchasing the products they already planned to buy. The difference is that a portion of the commissions earned by Simple Purchase LLC helps support military veterans and military families through charitable organizations.
After serving my country for 20 years, my mission of serving others continues. Through Simple Purchase LLC, every purchase has the potential to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed for our nation.
